Speakers

Our current line-up of speakers represent multiple ministries and backgrounds dedicated to the advancement of the kingdom of God among the nations of the world. We are pleased to introduce you to:

Dr. Elias dos Santos Medeiros

Key Note Speaker

Dr. Elias dos Santos Medeiros has been an ordained minister of the Gospel since January 1975. While in Brazil he worked in pioneer church planting in the Amazon region and in Recife (rural and urban). Elias was the Harriot Barbour Professor of Missions at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS for twenty-seven years until his retirement in 2020. Far from being an “Ivory tower” academic, Elias has always been a tireless practitioner of his profession. He is truly a preacher’s preacher, an evangelist’s evangelist. We are truly blessed to have Elias for our first Native Pastors Gathering.

Behind the Scenes

Patrick and Regina are missionaries serving with Mission to the World (MTW).

Patrick and Regina met at a Bible college in 1995. Together they have been in ministry for over 20 years. Patrick is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS Orlando, M.Div., 2014). From 1999 to 2014, they served together at a Reformed church in Sanford, Florida. Eight of those years, they led short-term teams to serve among the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians in Cherokee, North Carolina. From 2017 to 2019, they served at the Mokahum Ministry Center on the Leech Lake Reservation in Minnesota, working with fellow Native brothers and sisters.

Today they serve with Native leaders to help edify, encourage, and equip Native pastors that they may be strengthened in their calling to the Great Commission. The Native Pastors Gathering is one facet of their ministry calling to train leaders and make disciples among indigenous peoples of North America.
